Matthew Blaine identifies as a storyteller and enjoys swapping stories, especially around a campfire. As a problem solver who got things done, he worked for 30 years managing trade shows on the East Coast. During the Pandemic, he wrote two volumes of memoirs about his travel and outdoor adventures. That triggered an ambition to reinvent himself in the lives of historical characters, both fictional and real. An avid primitive archer, canoeist, long-distance hiker, minimalist and unionist, Matthew travels with an eye for the obscure stories of our past to weave into his fiction.
