Matthew Newton is a writer, editor, and publisher from Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. His work has been published by the Oxford American, the Atlantic's CityLab, Forbes, Guernica, and Spin. His debut nonfiction book, Shopping Mall (Bloomsbury), was published in September 2017. Newton is currently Director of Publishing at Carnegie Museum of Art, where he founded Storyboard, the institution's online journal.
