Mattu Windu is an author, musician, researcher, and world traveler whose work explores the intersection of ancient religion, art, sound, and human consciousness. A graduate of Fork Union Military Academy, he later attended Virginia Tech as a member of the Corps of Cadets before signing with an agency in Athens, Greece, and beginning a career in fashion that opened the world to him. After studying religion and ancient art in college, Mattu continued that education beyond the classroom, traveling through Egypt, Greece, Rome, Vatican City, and other cultural centers while studying their histories, traditions, sacred sites, and symbols firsthand. His background in music eventually brought sound and language into the same investigation. His books bring these paths together, challenging readers to reconsider what humanity remembers, what it has forgotten, and what may still be hidden in plain sight.
