Merle Shenk serves as the international director of DOVE International, a worldwide family of churches and ministries, and he is also the lead pastor at newport Church. With a passion for discipleship, leadership development, and empowering followers of Jesus, Merle has dedicated his life to equipping believers to walk in their God-given purpose by the power of the Holy Spirit. With over 20 years of pastoral ministry and leadership experience in cross cultural contexts, these seasons of sowing into evangelism, leadership, and equipping believers to walk in the power of the Holy Spirit continue to be life messages of their ministry to others. He and his wife, Cheree, were married in 2000 and are parents to five children and live in Pennsylvania, USA.
