Michael J. Summers is the President of Planning Consultants Hawaii, a land use and community planning consultancy based in Maui, Hawaii. Thus, he "writes" for a living. But more importantly, he is a loving husband and father. Before becoming "serious," Mike spent his late teens and twenties backpacking the world "old school."
