Michael Paul Patrick writes psychological thrillers, supernatural horror, and dark fantasy exploring grief, guilt, identity, and survival. His books include the Crowes series, the Blackthorne novels, The Last Chapter, The Perfect Stranger, Apartment 4C, Pleasant Oaks, and Dreadmere.

After surviving critical illness, eight days on a ventilator, and two weeks in the ICU, Michael began writing to process the trauma and nightmares that followed. That experience shaped both his fiction and his memoirs, I See U and I Hear U.

A former trial attorney, he is pursuing a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and advocates for ICU survivors and their families through the Life After ICU Initiative. He lives in Central Florida with his wife and children.
