MICHAEL SANDLER is the cohost of the popular Inspire Nation show, a transformational, self-help, spiritually focused podcast and YouTube channel, along with his wife, fellow coach, and teacher, Jessica Lee. He is a best-selling author, speaker, entrepreneur, visionary, coach, and the cocreator of Inspire Nation University and the Automatic Writing Experience online course. Michael has taught automatic writing to thousands of people worldwide. Through his Open-Hearted Warrior training program, he has also helped thousands more transform their lives over the course of twenty-five years. He is on a mission to elevate consciousness and help the world to shine bright. Michael is known for his affinity for anything bright yellow and his high-energy “WOO HOO!” Having been a world-class athlete and coach, competing at the international level in cycling, along with being a competitive speed-- skater, Ironman triathlete, and runner, Michael has applied those same training skills to being a life coach to teachers, leaders, and visionaries. He is a life-long meditation practitioner and meditation teacher. Racing at the professional level, competing in Europe, and even doing a 5,000-mile solo ride across the country, he understands that it takes commitment, training, and community to succeed in achieving lofty goals and big life dreams. As coauthor of the international best-seller Barefoot Running, Michael was featured on the BBC, CBS Early Morning Show, ABC’s Healthy Living, National Public Radio, US Armed Forces Network, Martha Stewart Radio, Unity Church Radio, and by Health magazine, Men’s Health, Shape, Women’s Health, and many more publications. Two near-death accidents led to the conception of the Inspire Nation show, the creation of the Automatic Writing Experience, and the writing of this book. These devastating accidents led Michael to a much deeper understanding about the world, of Spirit, and of our connection to something greater than ourselves. He calls this “getting the big picture” and from that this book emerged. On his Inspire Nation show, he has to date interviewed over 1,200 of the world’s leading authors, experts, and spiritual masters. The lessons gleaned from these interviews have infused his life, coaching, and even his marriage, for he’s had the opportunity to speak with many of the greatest minds on earth. Michael and Jessica have produced over 2,000 shows on their thriving YouTube channel with over 50 million downloads on their worldwide podcast. Once driven purely by performance and results as an endurance athlete, Michael survived the near-fatal accidents that cracked his heart open and helped him discover a kinder, gentler way of moving through life—one that arguably makes an even greater impact on others and the planet.
