Michelle Windsor is a poet, a mother of four, and the author of Slow and Steady, one of the My Heart Sings series. Originally from a small town in the Philippines, her love for storytelling began in her childhood and traveled with her across many different landscapes—from the bustle of city life to the quiet of the coast.
With a background in Early Childhood Education, Michelle weaves themes of growth and healing into her work. For her, writing poetry is a way to stay grounded and express herself; it simply makes life a bit easier to navigate. She shares these verses in the humble hope that they might offer that same sense of ease and healing to others.
When she isn’t writing, Michelle is likely tending to her four children and the "beautifully chaotic" reality of home. She and her husband are a close team, navigating the busyness of school events, trips to the park, and time in the kids’ play area together. They make sure to find time for one another through occasional date days or nights, cherishing the quiet moments that balance their full lives.
