I LOVE historical fiction. Born on the 4th of July, so American history fascinates me. Particularly the Civil War era, the 1890s, and World War II. I recently released my third historical novel, Tattered Coat. My first novel, The Great Chattanooga Bicycle Race, about a young woman who turns her city upside-down by riding a bicycle in bloomers, was originally released in 2017 and re-released at the end of 2019. My second novel, The Unnamed Girl, which won the 2019 IndieReader Discovery Award for Historical Fiction, was released in November 2018. In June 2019 I published a novella entitled Kabirizi's Revenge, followed by a book of short stories. My wife, Karen, and I recently relocated from Southern California to Poulsbo, Washington. We have two grown children.
