I have been reading voraciously since a young age and writing sporadically since I was a teenager. Ray Bradbury was one of the first authors to really turn my crank, and I consider him and Stephen King my writing "fathers". Clive Barker, Tom Robbins and Kurt Vonnegut rank among my other favorites. I love beautiful descriptive writing and try to bring that joy of words to my own work.
