Mindy Corporon is the author of Healing a Shattered Soul (2021) and Grief Leadership (fall of 2026), a CEO and a nationally known expert in professional development in grief leadership. She is the Vice President of Strategic Development for Love Always, a platform dedicated to building an online community of trusted, authentic providers helping individuals navigate mature life events. Her calling to this work was born from a profound personal tragedy: In 2014, when she was the CEO of a wealth management company, Mindy’s father and oldest son were murdered in an infamous hate crime in Kansas City. Turning her grief into action, she dedicated herself to inspiring systemic change in how leaders respond to grief, becoming an advocate for professional development in grief leadership. Her body of work was honored with the WIN for KC/Lockton Companies Resiliency Award.
As an innovator in developing scalable solutions for helping individuals, families and communities to reclaim their resilience and find healing, Mindy co-founded the women-owned Workplace Healing Inc. There, she created the Human Recovery Platform™. This empathy-based tool empowered leaders with practical strategies to increase compassion and support employees during life's most difficult transitions.
A dedicated philanthropist and humanitarian, Mindy also is the founder of SevenDays®, a nonprofit focused on overcoming hate by promoting kindness and understanding through education and dialogue. Mindy is an inspirational speaker, a sought-after podcast guest. In her memoir, Healing a Shattered Soul, she shares her personal journey as a mother, daughter, wife, and colleague to inspire and help readers rediscover hope and purpose in their own lives.
Through all her endeavors, Mindy is focused on helping leaders and their organizations to become more compassionate through the process of ABLE conversations, Ask, Befriend, Listen and Encourage.
