Mireya Saldúa is a children's book author. She holds a master's and bachelor's degree from Saint Xavier University in Chicago. Mireya is from the southside of Chicago, and continues to live in the Midwest with her husband, Matthew. She and Matthew have twin grown sons. Mireya had worked in the corporate world for thirty years in Human Resources. One day while pup-sitting, her adorable miniature Australian Shepherd grand pup, Misa.
Fun Day with Misa came together during lunch. During the publishing process, she found two wonderful collaborators, editor, Natalia Sepúlveda, a Spanish translator who also happens to be an author and Cleofe A. Pacaña, also known as ShoofyArt in social media, an illustrator because Cleofe can capture the best expressions. You will see those expressions not only on Misa but on other characters' faces as well.
Mireya will continue to write additional stories in the Come Along with Misa series and introduce other family members and pet characters. She hopes that you will fall in love with this adorable puppy just as she did and follow her antics and love for her human family, friends, and other animals.
