I was born and raised in South Africa, then I transplanted myself to Canada after high school shortly before 2001.
I’ll always be a South African at heart, though! I can never get the sand out of my feet.
Finding Freckles is my first book in a series of friendship books that inspire children to grow and challenge themselves.
When not eagerly working on my next book, I love to geek out at superhero movies (Marvel or DC), play games with my family and friends, and travel around North America with my dog "Marshmello"(when there isn’t a pandemic, of course!)
In fact, Marshmello is a rescue dog and is my inspiration for my recent animal friendship series.
No matter where I am or what I am doing, I can rarely be found without a book in my hand.
