Nada R. Sanders is Distinguished Professor of Supply Chain Management at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University. Dr. Sanders is a highly published thought leader and speaker. She received her PhD and MBA from the Ohio State University. She is author of over 100 articles that have appeared in prestigious scholarly journals such as California Management Review, Decision Sciences, Journal of Business Logistics, Journal of Operations Management, Omega, Interfaces, International Journal of Production and Operations Management, Journal of Behavioral Decision Making, Supply Chain Management Review, and others. Dr. Sanders was ranked in the top 8 percent of individuals in the field of operations management from a pool of 738 authors by a study of research productivity in U.S. business schools. Her research interests include supply chain management strategy, business forecasting, the role of information technology in the supply chain environment, and the impact of sustainability on supply chain management. In 2008 Dr. Sanders was selected to join The Gordon Cook Conversations at Windsor Castle, a conference that brought together top global leaders seen as ‘stars’ in their field for the purpose of developing strategies to impact society in the coming decade. Dr. Sanders is a Fellow of the Decision Sciences Institute (DSI). She was co-founder and Associate Editor of Foresight, an applied forecasting journal of the International Institute of Forecasters, and is Associate Editor of the Decision Sciences Journal, International Journal of Forecasting, and Journal of Business Logistics. She is an active member of Production and Operations Management Society (POMS), having served as both Program and General Chair. She is also active in the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals (CSCMP), the International Institute of Forecasting (IIF), and the Decision Sciences Institute, having served on Executive Boards of these organizations. In addition, Dr. Sanders has extensive business experience in the areas of supply chain management and business forecasting. She has worked with companies such as Nike, IDG, Ciba Corning, MTC Corporation, Schottenstein Corporation, AT&T and many others, providing forecast training and a variety of forecasting consulting services. She is also a frequently called upon expert witness in the area of business forecasting and has worked with firms such as Jones, Day, Reavis & Pogue, Vorys, Sater, Seymour & Pease, and most recently for Quinn, Emanuel, Urquhart & Sullivan on the Mattell vs. MGA case.
