"Healing begins where the wound was hidden."— Nati Carrillo, FNP-BC | Trauma-Informed Healer | Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
Nati Carrillo, FNP-BC, APRN, MSN, has spent seventeen years in clinical nursing doing something most people never get to witness: sitting with human beings at their absolute breaking point — and watching them find their way back.
As a Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner, certified health and life coach, and trauma-informed healer, Nati has seen firsthand what unprocessed grief, guilt, and resentment do to the human body. She's watched emotional pain quietly become a chronic illness. She's held the hand of people who blamed themselves for things that were never their fault. And she's guided more people than she can count from a place of quiet desperation toward something they thought was no longer available to them — peace.
That experience doesn't just make Nati a practitioner. It makes her a witness to healing. And everything she writes comes from that place.
Nati holds a Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas at Brownsville and is the creator of The Inner Alignment Method™ — a compassionate, step-by-step framework that guides people from confusion, shame, and self-blame toward awareness, self-forgiveness, and genuine personal freedom.
Her books span the full landscape of human experience: caregiving, family healing, personal growth, young adult empowerment, trauma recovery, and the profound connection between emotional weight and physical health. Her titles include Beyond the Blank Stare, When Loving Them Hurts, Más Allá de la Mirada Perdida, A Bleeding Heart: Poetry of a Nurse, Heartstrings, Unleash Your Mind: The Silva Method for Teens, and How to Lose Weight Without Tedious Dieting or Aggressive Exercise, among others. She also creates reflection-based journals designed to support emotional awareness and self-compassion.
Whether she is writing about addiction, the quiet courage it takes to set a boundary with someone you love, or the invisible weight of resentment — Nati's work is powered by a single, unshakable belief:
You carry within you the power to heal. Sometimes all you need is permission to begin.
She publishes under Sky WillaBea Press.
