Neil Rackham is an academic and the author of a dozen books, including three New York Times business best-sellers; his works have been translated into more than twenty languages. Brought up in England and Borneo, he has lived for the last forty years in the United States, where, in addition to pursuing his research into sales and related issues, Rackham has been a farmer, the owner of a vineyard (until ten years of losses overcame the bragging rights), and the entrepreneurial CEO of three consulting firms (resulting in a healthily skeptical view of the business world).
