Nick A. Horton grew up in rural western Kentucky. He enjoyed a childhood mix of play and work. He helped his dad with construction jobs and repairs of all things mechanical. His mom taught him a love of gardening, woodland lore, and creative cooking. From his youth, he showed a love for nature, people, and God. He intuitively viewed his surroundings through the lens of physics. Throughout his adventures, Nick has also recognized invisible truths that were just as real as their material counterparts. He married his lovely and adoring wife, Cheryl, who has inspired him with unwavering love. A strong base of supporters has allowed him to help a throng of people. Nick served others for ten years as an officer in the U.S. Army Reserve, six as a locksmith, thirty-four years teaching physics, math, and computational science, and a lifetime of service work through church and family. Nick Horton has been richly blessed by God and by people – especially his wonderful wife, excellent children and awesome grandchildren.
