Award-winning author Nicole Sorrell is dedicated to giving readers mythopoetic sagas of immersive literary fictino and magical realism. Writing in haunting, lyrical tones, her prose conjures the voice of ancient storytellers.
Her love of literary fiction and magical realism was born while reading the works of Latin American writers during her university studies. She earned a BA in Hispanic Literature and a BS in Clothing and Textiles. Her poetry has been published in "The Midwest Quarterly," "The New Press Literary Quarterly," and "Afterthoughts."
While splitting her time between Texas the the rural Midwest, she, "observes vaious species of wildlife and dodges alien cows." An annoying cat with the highly original name of Kitty and a four-pound Yorkie named Gigi keep her company. Writing under the pen name Coline Oseille, she authored a spicy Romance Mystery Series set in small town America.
