I'm Nikki Hughey. I'm a disabled author with an associate degree in science from Northwest State Community College. I have wrote about my life, I write poetry and fiction. I have written a book about the weapons I have learned to use as I am a martial artist. I am bilingual (English and German). I will write all my books in both launguages. I studied German at Toledo University. The picture displayed on my Amazon page is me as a kid, my therapist Reed the horse and his owner Diane. I used to give him carrots Everytime I visited him. I have published a poem about Reed originally written for my high school poetry class. The teacher loved it.
I used to juggle bean bags on Reed's back. I scared him once and he threw me. I was more upset about making him scared then I was about falling off. I was six years old, Reed was so upset, he thought I was hurt. I had to convince him I was OK before I could go home. I always wore the same shirt to ride Reed and I still have it someplace. I was a cowgirl and I was going to dress like one.
