Nikki is a rather adventurous sort, who somehow managed to find herself living the life of a homesteading wife and mother to 5 little rascals (so far). On the weekends, she camps, explores, gardens, reads, naps, swims, and occasionally howls at the moon.
She's a transplanted Texan; a current, reluctant Okie. She lives a plain but content life, and writes stories to preserve the ones she's loved and lost throughout her life. Many of the characters in her books are modeled after her late daddy and mama. She hopes to honor their memory through her words.
