Though currently in California, Noah Knox Marshall grew up in South Florida and for most of his years has lived near the ocean. For nearly two decades, he's enjoyed a career as a writer of film, television and video games, and on occasion has also worked as a 2D animator, special effects artist and themed entertainment consultant. A big fan of sci-fi and horror, he counts Ray Bradbury, Richard Matheson, Star Trek and The Twilight Zone as signature influences. As a young man, EPCOT Center's "The Living Seas" and "Horizons" (the latter now sadly only a memory) were major inspirations, reinforcing an already embedded fascination with oceanic exploration, marine science and positive futurism, seeding dreams that today find expression in "Dax Zander: Sea Patrol." He hopes that by offering a vision of a tomorrow truly worth living in, young people (and everyone else) will be compelled to help make it happen. Knox is quite fond of lobster, pizza, ruby red grapefruit juice, and ever grateful for a sublimely buttery New England Clam Chowder.
