Orrin Hargrave is a Vancouver boy and he loves the city. He has wanted to be a writer and has been writing since he was a little guy; it runs in his blood. His great-grandfather owned a bookstore in Buffalo, New York and his grandmother has published several books. Orrin loves words but can’t spell worth a damn. He is loose with his grammar and knows it but is working on improving this aspect of his logomania because he doesn’t want it to detract from what he is trying to say. He has moved around the province of British Columbia but currently lives in Vancouver with his wife and son and two cats and couldn’t be happier cooking for his family, working out, golfing, reading Henry Miller, listening to Chet Baker while snacking on a fresh baguette with some blue cheese and a glass of Burrowing Owl Syrah and writing writing writing – that is all he has ever wanted to do.
