You may be wondering how old I was when I “knew” I wanted to write stories. Or how old I was when I wrote my “first” story. I’ve found that a common answer to these questions among authors is usually a young age. For me, not so much.
Growing up, I always despised writing. Reading, I liked. Writing? No thank you. I would obsess over other people’s stories. Movies, TV shows, books, video games. Various forms of writing and storytelling that I fell in love with. I ate it up. Little did I know, by surrounding myself with all of that, I was beginning to find that I had stories of my own in my head that were begging to come out. Waiting to be told.
As a lifelong fan of science-fiction and fantasy, it is only natural that I create my own stories in the same realm. I spend my days in Oklahoma, dreaming up new worlds and adventures to share.
