Pamela Hallan-Gibson grew up in Orange County, California, as did multiple generations of her family before her. Born and raised in historic San Juan Capistrano, her love of history began there and continues to this day.
Trained first as a journalist, she later entered the field of city management and had a long career which ended in retirement in Sonoma, California, another historic city. Her formal education included a bachelor’s degree in history and a master’s in public administration.
Today she lives in Southern Nevada with husband Mark and a cantankerous and sometimes cuddly cat named Ralph, and is writing contemporary and historical fiction under the name Pamela Gibson.
