Perry began a career in broadcasting as a disc jockey and then as a sales rep for Radio Station WIBG in Philadelphia. When an opportunity arose to acquire a burned out radio station in Patchogue, LI, NY, After rebuilding the burned out shell of a station, Mr. Silver became the youngest owner of a radio station in the country. Upon selling it, he purchased an advertising agency in Manhattan dealing with airlines, hotels, resorts, spas and several countries, where he provide marketing in return for their products and services. Airlines provided empty seats, hotels, unused rooms and cruise lines, empty cabins. This was a true case of Bartering.
Upon retiring, our author moved to South East Florida and after seeing all of the toys and presents one of his friend's grandchildren received, he wondered what would Santa enjoy receiving. He had just received a puppy, so, he created a surprise gift from Mrs Claus.
