Self-taught director of three horror features and independent author.
When I was in fifth grade, I first read Stephen King's "The Shining." From then on, I was a genuine horror nut and wanted to be an author.
While pursuing my English degree at the University of Minnesota, Morris, I also caught the filmmaking bug. In my senior year, I wrote, produced, and directed the no-budget vampire feature "The Urge," using my friends as cast and crew, and my campus as a location.
After college, I co-wrote, produced, and directed the indie horror feature "The Control Group" starring Oscar-nominee Brad Dourif, which was released to DVD and VOD, and can currently be found on Amazon Prime.
Since then, I have written several award-winning screenplays, directed a slasher film with several major Instagram models, published short stories, and released my debut novel "Xolo."
I am currently developing a slate of film projects while preparing to publish more books, including two sequels to "Xolo."
