Peter John is a storyteller shaped by three countries. Born in Africa, raised between the wilds of Zimbabwe and the vibrant soul of South Africa, and now living in the Far East, his writing is fuelled by a lifetime of border-crossing and wonder.
Most of his books are proudly self-published, starting with the gritty, laugh-out-loud Abduction Chronicles saga.
Petros Arkansas is a no-nonsense special forces veteran (UK/US elite tier) who gets abducted by aliens and forcibly recruited into a shadowy interstellar military force. To survive the endless betrayals, brutal arenas, and cosmic wars, he has to level up fast—blending alien tech, magic systems, martial arts, and hard-won soldier instincts while never losing his razor-sharp sense of humour. Military sci-fi meets LitRPG with a huge side of “who can I even trust?”
The series so far:
Genesis – The abduction. The disbelief. The first knife in the back.
Arena – Power grows, enemies multiply, and the real war begins.
Books 3 & 4 – coming very soon, and the finale will be explosive.
His brand-new release is something entirely different and just as addictive. Published with Blooming Bull Publishing and available right here on Amazon, Warlock’s Gambit: The Hidden World is a fast-paced urban fantasy soaked in Eastern mysticism. From the neon-lit streets of Singapore to the sacred heights of Mount Kailash, Trevor Cross thought he’d left his old life behind—until an ancient stolen artifact drags him into a hidden magical world where every ally could be lethal.
When he needs a change of pace, Peter writes from the African wilderness he knows and loves. His standalone romance novella Zeenat’s Journey is short, intense, and deeply human: a love story that ignites on a safari where absolutely everything goes wrong. Real animals, real cultures, and real emotion in one sitting.
To every reader who’s followed Petros into space, Trevor into magic, or Zeenat into the bush—thank you. You make every late night worth it.
New to military LitRPG or Eastern urban fantasy? Come on in—these stories were written for curious minds like yours.
