Born in 1979 in Czechoslovakia, I grew up surrounded by technology through my parents' small educational software company. This early exposure to programming sparked my lifelong fascination with artificial intelligence and human-machine interaction. I went on to study physics and AI at the Czech Technical University in Prague, focusing on probability-based neural networks and pattern recognition systems. With over 20 years of experience in AI research and entrepreneurship, I explore both utopian and dystopian scenarios of our technological future, from super AGI to digital consciousness and simulation theory. My work examines AI's profound impact on democracy, human relationships, labor markets, and potentially even human existence itself. In APIENS, I combine technical expertise with philosophical insights to examine how human language shapes the interface between natural and artificial intelligence, potentially marking humanity's next evolutionary step. Through my writing and research, I investigate the complex implications of AI for our biosphere and civilization, while exploring the delicate balance between technological advancement and preserving what makes us fundamentally human.
