Prash Ganendran is a British true crime researcher, author, and podcaster whose work spans both modern and historical crime. He is best known for the Murder Casebook series, Jack the Ripper: Straight for the Jugular, and Wartime London’s Bonnie and Clyde: The Crime Spree of Betty Jones and Karl Hulten, co-authored with his wife, Melissa Ganendran. He is the creator and host of Prash’s Murder Map, a podcast examining solved and unsolved cases from Britain and around the world, placing each crime within its wider social and historical context. His work is noted for the depth of its original research, frequently uncovering overlooked or previously unpublished details through archival sources, official records, and contemporary reporting. Before becoming a full-time writer and researcher, Prash worked as a fraud analyst and later as a Cisco Network Engineer, a career that took him inside several of the UK’s highest-security prisons. He lives in the UK and continues to investigate crimes from both the modern era and the archives.
