A counselor and professor by day, he crafts fantasy worlds filled with secrets, moral gray zones, and people trying to do right in places that make it hard. His debut novel, Galdur Academy: Secrets in the Blood, launches a series set in a crumbling magical school where loyalty and conscience are often at odds.
When he’s not writing, he’s usually teaching, reading old paperbacks, or trying to keep his cats off the keyboard. He lives in Texas with his wife and their clowder of mischief-makers.
