Randy Elrod is the author of ten books, including a best-selling memoir, "A Renaissance Redneck In A Mega-Church Pulpit." He has a BA in Music from Palm Beach Atlantic University and, for thirty years, enjoyed a successful career in music and the creative arts.
He is the founder of the non-profit Creative Community, Inc. For sixteen years, he was the CEO of re:Create Conferences in Franklin, TN, an annual international gathering of artists, creatives, and business leaders. Since 1998, he has founded four companies, sold two, and consulted with people as diverse as American executive Michael Hyatt and British artist/songwriter Vicky Beeching.
He is most passionate about encouraging others to be who they are. There is a beautiful video about it on YouTube. He enjoys writing and reading books, cooking gourmet food, drinking whiskey and rye, savoring new wines, and painting watercolors. He has completed twenty-five marathons (26.2 miles each) and once had a bush plane drop him in the wilderness of Kodiak Island, Alaska, for a week in grizzly country with only a tent and a raft.
He lives in Barcelona, Spain.
