Dr. Ray Torbiak BIOGRAPHY Ray Torbiak is a Canadian radiologist, specializing in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures. He enrolled in a course on narrative-based medicine, searching for balance and self-care amid the demands of clinical life during the global pandemic. What began as a professional creative outlet quickly became a quiet space to reflect, process, and recharge. For Ray, writing has become an opportunity to explore the human condition and flex his creative side away from the urgency of a hospital setting. He finds storytelling to be more than an escape; it is a way to reconnect with himself and imagine a hopeful vision of the future. Dr. Torbiak lives with his family in Ontario and practices radiology full-time. Novichok is Dr. Torbiak’s first novel.
