Rebecca Stevenson is a native Texan, but marriage took her to New England, where the Maine coast stole her heart. She lives in Texas again, but frequent trips back to the Northeast inspired the settings for both her Wentworth Cove and Porter Falls series.
A former English and creative writing teacher, she decided that if she could teach writing, she ought to be able to do it. A few brainstorming sessions with her daughter led to her first novel, Another Summer, set in a picturesque coastal village in Maine—and eventually to the four-book Wentworth Cove series.
When she turned her attention closer to home, the four-book Trinity Springs series was born, filled with the horses, ranches, small towns, and occasional line dancing of her native Texas. New Song, the first book in the series, is now also available in audio.
Her newest books take readers to Porter Falls, a lakeside village in New Hampshire. Mirthwood Cottage introduced the series, and Change of Plans, Rebecca’s tenth novel, continues it with another story of family, faith, and unexpected love.
When she’s not writing, Rebecca enjoys spending time with family and friends, reading, and watching movies. She’s already at work on her next visit to Porter Falls.
