Remy Porter is a British horror author known for his dark, fast-paced apocalyptic fiction. Born in Wigan in 1974 and shaped by the wild landscapes of the Lake District, his work blends atmosphere with relentless tension.
He gained a cult following with his bestselling zombie novel Dead Beat and expanded his horror universe with Stixx, a vampire thriller steeped in mystery and mythology.
In 2026, he returned with Dead Run, a brutal sequel that reignited his zombie saga, followed by the standalone outbreak novel The Isle. Later that year, Blood Runs Thin introduced Jonas Hale and a new strand of supernatural horror. The series continues in December 2026 with The Grinning Man.
