Rick and Amy have been married for 35 years, and they have three sons. Their oldest son, Mack, tragically died in 2020 at the age of twenty-four. You can read more about Mack in Rick's book, Mack and Jesus. Cooper, an ultra-marathon runner, lives with his wife Ellie and daughter in Minnesota. Spencer attends Grand Canyon University, loves Jesus, running, and adventures.
Rick is the Area Director for Search Ministries in Greater Kansas City. God has blessed him with the privilege of introducing people to Jesus and helping them grow in their faith for nearly four decades in California, France, Colorado, Missouri, and Kansas through various church and parachurch ministries. He loves being outside, Chiefs football, storytelling, and authentic conversations over a cup of espresso. Amy loves dogs, the Gilmore Girls, being a wife, mom, and Mimi (Grandma).
