Rob is a 47 year old Dorset based former England international cricketer who had his leg amputated above the knee in 2018 in very unusual curcumstances
In 2022 Rob had his biography From Disability to Ability-My journey published in March 2023.
Rob works in primary education working with children who have special educational needs. In September 2025 Rob decided to write a childrens book which was was delightfully published on the 27th October 2025 titled 'The Accident ' a childrens short story which was written and illustrated by the man himself.
Rob has other titles in production which all aim at helping children deal with their feelings and help them to over come emotional obstacles.
