Robert Marsett grew up an Army brat and then served himself from 1969 until 1991. Living and serving around the world in overseas locations as diverse as Vietnam and Germany, as well as in the United States from Florida to Alaska has given Robert a well-rounded and varied view of places, things, and people.
Upon retirement from the Army, Robert took up the job of cowboy and then foreman on a large cattle ranch in Arizona.
Robert now divides his time between writing, traveling with his wife, and enjoying his love of fly fishing and the outdoors with his wife and friends.
If you ask Robert Marsett, how he identifies himself, he will tell you, “I have been a cowboy, an underground miner, and a remote camp cook and guide in Alaska, but I am now and always will be a soldier at heart.”
