Before I built up multiple moving companies, I fought for my life growing up on the streets of New York, while incarcerated in a maximum security prison and against the beast of addiction. Now with 32 years of being clean and sober, I help others find their way on the recovery journey, speaking and sponsoring those who want to achieve the best version of themselves. Along the way, I learned a lot about life and myself. Eventually, I was able to retire from business and now live in Florida with my wife, and “soulmate,” Diane. I remain active in Twelve Step meetings, and volunteer in hospitals, institutions and various support groups. In my free time, I enjoy playing golf, yoga, writing and taking long walks on the beach while living one day at a time.
