Rocky is the founder of Influencers Global Ministries in 2001, a discipleship ministry focused on the business culture, churches, prisons and jails, campuses, and as well in other nations and cultures.
Rocky has nine published books and a nine-month discipleship curriculum that has also been translated into four languages and used in various cultures in different nations around the world, along with the Influencers work in the USA.
He graduated from Ole Miss after playing football and baseball while on scholarship there. He briefly played in the NFL before pursuing his career in business.
He was an Insurance consultant from 1968 through 2003 before transitioning into his role with Influencers on a fulltime basis.
He continues to serve as the Founding Director of Influencers while continuing his discipleship work with the ministry through writing, speaking, mentoring, coaching new leadership, and being involved with its international expansion.
He writes a weekly devotional and blog through Influencers.org and is a contributing author for YouVersion Bible App reading plans with a following of over 500,000 readers.
