Rocky is a first-generation Hmong American who grew up with an interesting cultural dynamic which ignited his passion for the humanities and liberal arts. After his undergrad studies, he decided to advance his education in the social sciences and study human behavior and cognition. He went on to receive his Doctorate in Psychology and is currently an Assistant Professor at a private mid-west University. Given his personal experiences with different cultures, he has developed an interest in sociocultural research, particularly in cross-cultural psychology and its implications for socioeconomic outcomes and acculturation.
