Roger Brown is an Alaska transportation and logistics professional, U.S. Air Force veteran, and longtime Alaskan with decades of experience moving freight across some of the most remote and challenging transportation corridors in North America. He currently serves as General Manager of Middle Fork Logistics in Fairbanks, Alaska, and has been involved in trucking, Arctic logistics, infrastructure issues, and transportation policy throughout his career.
His firsthand experience operating on Alaska’s Dalton Highway led him to examine a larger question: how does the United States maintain infrastructure that may carry relatively little traffic but is critical to national defense, energy security, critical minerals, communications, and remote communities?
That question ultimately led to the National Strategic Infrastructure Corridor Initiative (NSICI) and his first book, which presents the issue and proposed solution in a form intended for policymakers, industry leaders, and everyday Americans alike.
Brown lives in Alaska with his family and remains active in transportation, community, and volunteer organizations. His writing draws heavily from practical experience and a lifelong interest in Alaska, infrastructure, and the people who keep remote America connected.
