Hello everyone!
I wrote these books to help you understand sport on a deeper level and, above all, to show you how important mindset truly is. My goal is not only to motivate you but also to help you recognize the most common mistakes athletes make and to give you tools to make your journey easier.
My story began when I was a child, sitting in the stands and watching a professional tennis match for the first time. In that moment, something clicked, and I fell in love with the energy, the competition, and the feeling that anything was possible. Soon after, I started training in a small local club, practicing only a few times a week, while also spending my winters skiing. Step by step, year by year, I improved, carefully increasing my training and competing in tournaments, always driven by enjoyment and curiosity rather than pressure.
I was never the most talented player. In fact, I was often physically smaller and weaker than others, and many players around me seemed naturally more gifted. But what I had and what made the difference was determination, discipline, focus, and a strong fighting spirit. Those qualities helped me progress, compete at a national level, and eventually become one of the top junior players in my country.
However, as I improved, the pressure grew as well. Expectations rose, and slowly, things began to change. I began losing matches I was expected to win, my confidence dropped, and I found myself overthinking more and more. Instead of focusing on the game, I started worrying about what others thought, especially my parents and people watching from the stands. That was the turning point where the real struggle began. The biggest battles were no longer happening on the court, but inside my own mind.
I went through a period where I completely lost my confidence, motivation, and enjoyment of the game. It felt like everything I had built was falling apart. But with time, patience, and guidance from my coach, I slowly learned how to shift my focus back to myself, rebuild my mindset, and take control of my thoughts. That process was not easy, but it taught me the most valuable lesson of my entire journey: mental strength is often more important than talent.
That is exactly why I started writing!
I decided to write these books to help athletes overcome the same struggles I once faced, to give them the knowledge and tools I didn’t have when I needed them the most, and to show them that they are not alone in what they are going through. At the same time, my mission goes beyond just athletes. Through my children’s books, I want to inspire younger kids to step away from screens, become more active, and discover the joy of sport, movement, and healthy habits from an early age. And for older athletes, my goal is to teach, guide, and support them to help them grow not only physically but also mentally, and to stand by them through the challenges that come with sport.
If my books can help even one athlete overcome pressure, rebuild confidence, or enjoy the game again, or inspire one child to start moving and fall in love with sport, then everything I have created has a purpose.
