Grew up in Southern Louisiana, USA in the Creole culture. Part of a large family of seven children and two parents. Lived under segregation laws successfully. Overcame extreme shyness as we lived a humble lifestyle. Sense of humor was a valuable asset. Had an enjoyable life in spite of challenges. Learned that my positive attitude was a start toward making things better. It is my hope that my experience may be a help to others.
