Dr. Rose Brock, Professor at Sam Houston State University, has dedicated her thirty years in education to turning young people into book lovers. She is the cofounder of NTTBF, the largest library run book festival for young people in the country and was awarded the Scholastic Library Publishing Award by the American Library Association, the Siddie Joe Johnson Award for Outstanding Service to Youth by the Texas Library Association, and has been highlighted as a national “Mover & Shaker” by Library Journal. Rose is the author of Young Adult Literature in Action: A Librarian's Guide and editor of Hope Wins: A Collection of Inspiring Stories for Young Readers and Hope Nation: Young Adult Authors Share Personal Moments of Inspiration.
