Rose studied Employment Studies and Human Resource Management at university. However, she has dedicated her professional career to Health and Social Care sector, working as a Trainer/Assessor and Practitioner for over fifteen years. She worked with autistic individuals for over seven years. This exclusive experience provided her with a deep, hands-on understanding of the challenges and triumphs that autistic individuals and their families face on a daily basis.

Rose's personal life also plays a significant role in shaping her work. As a grandmother to an autistic teenager, she has been intimately involved with her granddaughter's upbringing from birth. The experience has given her a unique perspective on the developmental roadmape of an autistic person from infancy through adolescence. It has allowed her to witness first hand the early stages of autism, the diagnostic process, and the on-going adaptation required as an autistic child grow and faces new challenges. She researched, learned and interacted with families of other children on the autism spectrum.
