Russell M. Lawson is a history professor, a Fulbright Scholar, and author of over two dozen books. He has a BA and MA from Oklahoma State University and a PhD from the University of New Hampshire. In 2010, Dr. Lawson was Fulbright Visiting Research Chair in Transnational Studies at Brock University. Dr. Lawson teaches and writes on scientists, explorers and missionaries; the history of America, Europe, and the world; and the history of ideas. He also writes local history, genealogical histories focusing on families and specific individuals, and fictional books focusing on religion and historical fantasy.
