S. D. Sampley was born and raised in a small Alabama town, where the only thing to do was read and obsess over horses. This started her longstanding love of reading and writing stories, where at the age of nine she began writing horse themed stories, transitioning to Fantasy in her early teens.
At the age of twenty-four she finally published her first Fantasy book: Moonlight Howls, the starter novel to the Moonlight Howls Series—something she’d been working on since she was twelve. She even owns two horses now, and wholeheartedly believes their therapeutic nature is the recipe for success when it comes to writing her books.
S. D. currently writes Adult Fantasy, Horror, YA, and Sweet Romance.
