In addition to her fiction, she develops cookbook collections inspired by her stories, blending a love of food with storytelling. She also teaches culinary arts, where creativity, structure, and craft come together in the classroom as well as on the page.
She lives in California with her husband and her German Wirehair dog, Gunnar, both of whom have inspired characters in her writing.
