S.M. Muse is the bestselling author of The Valerian Cycle, The Summer People, and numerous works of fantasy, adventure, and contemporary fiction. My novels blend myth, mystery, family, and wonder into character-driven stories that explore identity, belonging, and the enduring power of hope. Drawing inspiration from folklore and history, I try to create richly imagined worlds where ordinary people are called upon to live out extraordinary destinies.
A lifelong storyteller, I was inspired by authors such as Frank Herbert and J.R.R. Tolkien. I believe that great stories should entertain, inspire, and remind us that we are never too old to dream.
