My three books are: "The Forgotten Marlins: A Tribute to the 1956-1960 Original Miami Marlins," "Baseball Under the Palms; The Early Years 1892-1960," and "Baseball Under the Palms Volume Two 1962-1991." I have a master's degree in business administration and am a lifelong Pittsburgh Pirates fan. I am happy to have written what has been called the most comprehensive history of Miami minor league baseball. I am also the Chairperson for the South Florida Chapter of SABR (Society for American Baseball Research).
My newest book: "Baseball Under the Palms History of Miami Minor League Baseball Volume Two: 1962-1991, includes over 100 interviews with former players sharing heart-warming stories of their days in Miami. Following the failure of the Int'l. League's Triple-A Miami Marlins in 1960, baseball returned in 1962. For 30 seasons, baseball experienced ups and downs, and in 1979, a brief foray with the Miami Amigos. For lovers of our national pastime, the richly varied and illustrious history comes alive.
